Sunburn in Odd Places
Dec. 3rd, 2004 09:53 amI always manage to miss one spot. This time it was up to the edge of my swimsuit bottom. Yep, I have a burned tush. The rest of the back is slightly red, but not to bad.
I ended up finding a slightly cheaper scuba shack. I start with the basic knowledge this evening, do the pool dives tomorrow and boat dives on Sunday and Monday. Works out perfectly, because you are supposed to stop diving 18 hours before you fly. I'm paying $280, and had to make a run to the on-call doctor at one of the hotels to have my ears checked (because of tubes 20 years ago). Thankfully that wasn't to expensive, but they have to cover their liabilities.
One thing about staying at hostels, you meet people. I stayed up late watching my roomates get drunk. I followed to the bar, but wasn't in the mood (if I am ever). Quite fun to watch, though.
I am trying to figure out what to do for today. I might sit on the beach. And burn some more.
