Change in Plans
Jun. 23rd, 2004 12:40 amSo I changed my plans today. Due to sleeping in and the Budapest Metro under construction, I ran late, and ended up coming to Vienna instead of Bratislava. I also ended up hanging out with the two New Yorkers I met in Budapest for another day. I did not end up getting in until 4 (and got the second to last bed at this hostel). After settling in, walked around town for a while. I splurged on a great meal at a small Turkish place. I needed hummus, and the baklava was wonderful. Vienna is a very nice town to walk around. Not much live music, but found a woman playing the harp in a acousitcally nice... car enterance to a park. Very awesome. We sat and listened to her for almost half an hour with a man in Bedoiun robes. Then had a 1 Euro Coke and Amaretto, because the bartender just charged me for the Coke since she finished off the bottle of Amaretto and did not give me the full amount, which was fine, because it was exactly the mixture I make for myself. Sorry about the runnon sentence. And this is the first keyboard I have used with the normal arrangement of y and z, so I keep second guessing myself. And for those who care, the third place on this trip using Linux. More later...
