affrecaHaven't been posting much because I'm in the winter/mid semester blahs. Fall break was fun, but way to short. The desire to dump everything and travel for months on end is getting.. a bit to strong. Thankfully, I have the love a good man to keep me home. Or take on short trips. I really want to go somewhere warm and tropical the second week in January, I'm just finding trouble deciding where, and how to get there cheaply. So, Costa Rica or Caribean?
Not as much time crafting as I want. Still designing my two meme projects. I like my idea for![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
revena, but I want to ask her permission before I start working on it, and I want a bit more designing before that. But it will be cool and therapy for me.
Carly's is a bit harder. I have colors, but still mulling over where to put the colors. I got some awesome beads in Madison that might get used. And some real silver wire.
Oh, and this morning's NPR gave me further evidence for my theory about SoDak and politics as the new state industry. See, South Dakota has no money and few people. During the last election cycle, outside interests spent lots of money running polical ads (6 million, perhaps). So what is happening this year? Money being spent in the state by outside parties to campaign for and against the abortion initaitive. And then there is the Judges in Jail amendment, which has more money being spent. Brilliant. Controversial elections = money.
